I see we have some two wheelers here that need to say thier piece.
I'm in my mid 50's and have always had some sort of two wheeler to entertain me. Be it Honda, Rice Rocket, Dirt, or Harley its all the same. You enjoy to ride, you support others that ride, you got my respect.
It fries my buns when some MC groups say I cant ride with them because my machine doesn't have the bird.
I currently own a 88' Yamaha Venture that We have enjoyed for 18 years. Ya I would like to get another ride but have you seen the prices? All my buddies talk me out of it because what I got is so clean.
This April 17th - 20th we're trailering up to Panamint Springs (Death Valley, Ca.) and riding around the area into Nevada.

Here's a question. Who knows what engine powers the 86 to 92 Yamaha Ventures?
I believe it is a 1300cc, 4cyl in a v config.

I agree... it doesn't matter what you ride... its THAT you ride. More power to you. Can't assist with your question on the Yamaha motor... but if it fits, I can highly recommend you might like to swap it out for one like mine... its a 1300...

Bonk.. as Deadeye says... I like your style. She gets top vote, but my Hayabusa comes a close second. Besides, the bike does what I tell it, never nags, is ALWAYS ready for a ride, LIKES to be serviced regularly, never compares me with it's previous riders, doesn't get upset when I ride other bikes and isn't high maintenance.
