Hello DOU!

I have been away for a while and getting my (real-life) act together. I feel the need to re-introduce myself. I'm back in the game, but not as frequently as I use to be.

Due to the crappy economy, I was out of work for 1 1/4 years. I landed a job about 5 months ago and I have been busy reestablishing my place in the world. I got out my funk from being out of work and having to financially start over. One of obvious results of being active again, I dropped 70 pounds to date while still working on the last 30 with a goal weight of 195 pounds with 15% body fat. Things are looking up.

I picked up the new Mac Mini, and it will be my computer of choice to play the game. I need some help to properly customizing the game and graphic settings. See ya on the other side!

Did you install bootcamp on that Mac? Playing UT99 under OS X will not be a pleasant experience if you didn't.

Thanks for the warm welcome back... Looking forward to fragging once again. 😆

I know I missed out on a bunch of tournaments. Are there any coming up? Are we still actively playing against other clans? Can someone please PM me the server/password for the practice server? How do I get a hold of [DOU] skins?

I do have my Mac Mini set up with boot camp. Works like a champ!... Solid 60fps @ 1920x1200. I tried running it under Parallels virtualization software and it works under OpenGL, albeit a bit too dark and laggy.

I saw you on and wanted to drop you a line and let you know that regardless of what has been said in the forum you and all other ZSZ are welcome here. I've had a lot of good games with you and Dash and the squabbling doesn't change that.

A lot of the bickering has been fueled by third parties that are banned from our server and looking to get even. The rest is really bad information.

I hope none of what has happened has made you feel unwelcome because the majority of DOU is in agreement with me, you are welcome here any time.
