What is the exact problem?

Seems to me the maps aren't downloading.

Damn natan, that was some downright genius insight to the issue.

Whats is the the actuall issue though, is it very slow at downloading?, are you getting an error? Does the game crash?, does reconnecting to the server when experiencing issues help?.

We talked about this in-game the other night. Some of what he's experiencing is what I did after my recent switch to 10 in that he's having to reload everything once again on a fresh system (this is a new computer and upgrade to 10 for him), but certain ones just won't go. However, since Tommy worked over the system awhile back it hasn't again been an issue for me unless it just happens that I haven't encountered the problem maps.

Dr. Boom was complaining of a similar problem.

Boom's comment was what we don't like to see, "When it happens to me, I just go to another server for awhile and then try again". So, it's going to affect traffic until this gets resolved.

the problem is some maps are not downloading at all. it happened again tonight go from one game to the next and i get nothing. this issue hasnt happened on the sop server. skullcrusher no like sop server.

do i uninstall and try again?

this issue never had this issue before I upgrade.

i can shut down and come back on and it still wont download the map that wouldnt download previous. anyone catchin what im puttin down here?

so i just logged back on to ut, the same map was up. download started and then stopped. nix nada nothin.

Also, do you use a cache cleaner? I am wondering if your system is having a problem with cached files.

just got on and went from darth to married with children. mwc wouldnt download, shut the game off came back on and it worked. ive shut down the game before and tried that without success.

A cache cleaner may help but i doubt it, cache cleanig just sorts out the downloaded files, it doesnt affect the actual downloading of a file, im wondering if its a firewall issue from windows 10, or router trying to block an incoming connection ot download. When you get a map that will download how fast does it come down?, is it slow or quick? Whats you iinternet speeds?.

I woikd try running the cache cleaner first though, may have a corrupt file thats causing the issue.

From what I understand, he's in the same boat I was before -- everything is new new -- he doesn't have any cache to clean. I'm not speaking for him, but his problem sounds a lot like what I had and this interests me as I'd like a better understanding of what causes this.

when maps do download its fast.

so last night it happened with married /Wchildren. map wouldnt download so i got out of ut, got back on and it started then stopped jumped off again got back on and the rest of the map downloaded. it might be an issue with windows 10 because this shit didnt happen before.
