There are a lot of rock groups that use one.
Simple Minds, Counting Crows, Peter Gabriel, The Hooters, Hot Tuna, The Band, Barenaked Ladies, Dylan, just to name a few, and of course Weird Al.
There are even Punk bands like The Dysfunctionells and Giant Ant Farm using one.
