Here are some of DOU's rules:
Run & Gunning (R&G) Running or Teleporting around the map to get frags is not allowed. Running or Teleporting to get to cover after you spawn is legal.
Spawn killing Basically there are two forms. The first is when you spawn in an occupied area and wait there till you pop and ace the guy that was there first. In this case you should leave the area. The second is being the guy that is there first and shooting the spawner in the back as he leaves. Not letting him leave safely. You can watch where he goes and pop him as soon as he sticks his head out, but you give him the chance to get to cover.
Swirly kill is when you camp a tele swirly waiting for people to pop in and ace them or sit in the swirly causing them to get tele fragged. Watching a swirly from across a map is o.k.
Elevator Camping is camping at the top of an elevator and aceing everyone that uses it. Knowing where an ele comes out and keeping an eye on it from across the map is ok.
Assaulting/Charging Teleporting or bumrushing someone's location to get a kill.
Revenge killing is when you get killed and the next thing you do is go out of your way to come back and kill the guy who just killed you. Again a clean shot from across the map is legal.
Spamming/Taunting This is where someone continuously displays the same message or they are continuously using their voice menu to be a nuisance. This applies not only during game play but between matches too. Some people say 'nice shot', n1, ty, lol and so forth and there is no problem with this. But hearing 'yeah bitch' or 'lets' get our flag back' over and over is annoying as well as rude to many players. An occasional taunt is fine but don't abuse it please.
The only exception to spamming is when an Admin is issuing a warning for a rule violation.
I'm sure everyone who reads this will run into someone else who is doing one or more of the no-no's listed above. DO NOT start doing the same thing back!!! First, politely ask the player to refrain trom that activity. If the player does not comply, step out of the game and put up a post in the complaint dept. Be sure to include the Date, Time, Map Name as well as the name of the player and a detailed description of the infraction.
IMO what you define as a"revenge killing" here is mostly called "Hunting".

A revenge killing is when you kill the guy that just killed from an away place where you respaned. It's not a real fault, it's just a bit easy. 😉

No, IMO hunting is slowly making your way through a map looking for any target.
Revenge is when you kill someone and they know where you are and they specifically travel through the map to kill you. If they spawn in a place where they can shoot you from wouldn't be considered a revenge kill.

No, IMO hunting is slowly making your way through a map looking for any target.

lol, the thing is to speak with the same laguage. But the definition I gave to you where hunting is going back to the place where you saw the one that got you, is the definition of other clans (SAS for an ex).
But the name is not very important the thing is to forgive to go back and kill the one you saw killing you. 😉
Why is elevator camping a no-no?
There are lots of maps where an elevator takes you onto a roof or room with windows. If you can camp the elevator, you will always get shot in the back when someone comes up the elevator.
If elevator camping is not allowed, they shouldn't be able to shot you in the back.

What we're talking about here is camping an elevator for the sole purpose of shooting whoever uses it.
If you are in a location where you are able to cover an area off of a roof or through a window then I don't see a problem popping anyone who uses an elevator as long as you're not spending the whole time looking at the exit of the elevator through your crosshairs.

I saw loads of players hunting. Is that allowed? And what about going to a spot, stopping in the middle, killing someone and continue teleporting after?? Killing on amo run is accepted?
I am asking because I want to be sure of what to do and what not do.

Define "hunting".
There's a difference between continiously running around looking for kills and making a few frags on your way to a destination. Just use your best judgement and you should be fine.

This is kind of a gray area and a judgement call.
If you're continuosly crossing a map to get to a spot and using that as a dodge to rack up some r&g kills....definitely not. Sets a bad example.
If it's just an occaisional thing, it's cool. Just make sure you're well past spawn protection or it's a spawn kill. Never use that protection to line up a kill.
